If A Spill Happens
The 5-step response
- Act quickly – blot immediately with a clean white cloth.
- Work inward – from outer edges toward the centre to prevent spreading.
- Absorb first – soak the spill with a dry cloth before adding any liquid.
- Gentle clean – if needed, use mild wool-safe soap with cold water.
- Air dry – never use a hairdryer or steam.
What To Avoid
Even with the shield, please don't
- Scrub or aggressively rub the rug surface.
- Use bleach, hydrogen peroxide, enzyme cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Skip professional cleaning. A wool-safe deep clean every 12– 18 months is recommended.
- Treat it as fully stain-proof. The shield buys time — prompt action remains essential.
